Salman Fans are as loyal as Shah Rukh Fans but still I feel the fanbase is more for Salman.
Shahrukh Khan has acted superbly in the late 90's. Watching his acting makes me feel that he deserves the title, "King Khan."
SRK has got international recognition. Whenever we ask any international celebrity about their favourite Bollywood superstar, majority will reply, "SRK".
Clearly see for yourselves that Salman has more impact on social networks than SRK. But, on Twitter, SRK has slightly more followers than Salman. This doesn't reflect much because Facebook is way much more popular among Indian youth than Twitter. Also remember, Salman has been accused and has an unclean criminal record. Had SRK had a similiar criminal record, he would have far less supporters. This shows how much impact Salman Khan has on the masses.
One more point, Salman Films seem to get more box office collection nowadays, almost every new blockbuster hitting a ₹300 crore club. ($500 Miĺlion)
PS : I'm not a "fan" of anyone of these, I also know these 'likes' and 'followers' don't mean much. But they mean a LOT in the B'wood industry.
And admit it, Love them or hate them, you just can't ignore them.
